The beginning of an epic month of swell.
We would never have guessed how good our first few days in the Playgrounds would be. The 2 magic days at Rifles being the pick. This was a father/son; young/older crew from the South Coast. All surfed hard. Half way through this trip we were all pretty well toast. Surfed out! Pure and simple. Even perfect 4ft Maccas seemed boring. Highlights include: Ben and Beau’s dominance of one of the world’s best rights absolutely on fire, Shane Dorian’s 3 epics, Westy’s tattoos, converting Symmo from his beloved Uluwatu to loving the rights in Indo, surfing big mongrelly office with Bucko, watching Luke take on a rather large, semi secret left, proud dads, too many broken boards ... dare I say, can there be too much surf!!!!
